The bright colors of “Turkey in the Straw” are mounted high up on the barn connected to the Meyer Elevator in Carnarvon. It is owned by Kevin Peyton and was painted by the Tom Duncan family. It can be found on 370th Street (D-59), in the middle of the tiny community; it is listed as #20 on the Sac County Barn Quilt map.
