The pattern on this quilt block is very similar to that of the Welcome Center at Winterset. While the colors are identical, the center of this quilt has a green windmill rather than red, and the square in the center is red rather than green. The colors create an attractive look on this traditional red barn. It can be found on Co. Rd. G-50 to the west of St. Charles.

We took a little side trip to St. Charles to check out the final covered bridge and spotted this great barn quilt along the way.
