In the Downtown Crossing section of Boston, several utility boxes have been given an artistic painting. This one is located on Summer Street, in the brick portion of the street where pedestrians and authorized vehicles can use.
The box is in a cityscape theme. The skyline is dark with lights showing from the buildings. On one side is an orange tower that rises well above the rest. The sky is a mottling of blue and grey to indicate clouds and possibly rain.
On top are clouds and starry skies. Also on top are the words, "City of Boston | Mayor Menino | By: Adam O'Day '10."
