Also known as Lady Justice, survived a courthouse fire and now graces the park in front of the courthouse.

Sculpture originally stood in interior foyer of old courthouse (ca. 1892), but was moved outside after a fire in the 1920s gutted the courthouse. Sculpture may have lost its original scales and torch during the fire. In 1989, new scales and a sword were added.

Description: Full-length female figure wearing classical robes with a design of acanthus leaves and grapes along the hem. Figure has curly hair and wears crown of leaves. Figure's proper left arm is raised, and holds scales of justice; proper right arm is lowered, bent at the elbow, with sword.

Dimensions: Sculpture: approx. H. 8 ft.; Base: approx. 42 x 42 x 42 in.
