The Grace Episcopal Cathedral is a monumental structure with many inspirational features both inside and out. Among the more mundane of the features available to those passing by is the large town clock mounted upon the south side of the corner bell tower. This clock is of a simple, modern design. Bars mark the hours and simple rectangular hand move the minutes and hours. This clock is visible along California street, just past the magnificent stairway leading up to the bas relief entrance doors. The clock works and keeps accurate time. The address of the Grace Episcopal Cathedral is 1100 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 and takes up the city block formed by California, Jones, Sacramento, and Taylor Streets. There are numerous other waymarks associated with Grace Cathedral and in the immediate area.
