The plaques read:
SKYLINE PARK
In 1967 the citizens of Denver voted to renew a blighted area of the city. The reconstruction became known as the Skyline Urban Renewal Project, which was planned and undertaken by the Denver Urban Renewal Authority in cooperation with the City and County of Denver and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The visual center of the Skyline Project is this public park designed by Lawrence Halprin and Associates. It was completed and dedicated to the Citizens of Denver by DURA in 1973. This park was created as a place where people may pause a while to enjoy its beauty and to be themselves renewed.
SKYLINE PARK
The 2004 renovation of Skyline Park into a great public space for all to enjoy evolved from an encompassing public vision that was implemented through the cooperative efforts of design, construction, business, residential, and municipal communities.
