This is the site of the former Riverside DOwns in Henderson, KY. At the entranceway at the corner of Stratman Rd and Sunset Ln stood an arch that greeted guests. The arch sign is now a shell of its former self. Most of the sign has been broken or fallen off through the years and all that is left is one section of the sign with "ERSID" still attached.
Riverside Downs has been out of business since 1993 as a race track, but has been used as a training facility until 2009. Now the site is sitting idle, a shame for the 50+ years of history that the track has as a horse and harness racing track.
