It looks like you can walk out of Long Beach and right into Cambodia in this mural on the side of a Cambodian Restaurant.

This mural is on the side of the New Paradise Restaurant...a Cambodian place in a neighborhood with many Southeast Asian immigrants.
The mural depicts the ruins of typical Cambodian temples...walk over the threshhold into a village. Is that Ankhor Wat in the distance? and that city beyond the river on the right...Siem Reap, perhaps?
A plaque at the site indicates that the artist is Guillermo Avalos and is dated 2008. It was sponsored by the City of Long Beach and other agencies. There is a long list of "artist assistants".
