The city of Roosevelt has a proud sculpture of President Teddy Roosevelt. It is a bust of Theodore Roosevelt, dressed in military uniform with hat, set atop a 7 foot high column. The beautiful Smithsonian sculpture is done by artist Ray Hellberg. It is sitting on the Main Street of the city. It is a nice addition to Roosevelt City as the city was named after this great president.
The plaque reads:

Namesake of the great President Theodore Teddy Roosevelt
Dedicated to those great settlers who developed a proud heritage for a progressive city.
