Carefree is a quiet little town north of the Phoenix metro area. It is higher in elevation than Phoenix. It is known for a large sundial and its quaint atmosphere.

I do not know where they took the elevation for Carefree, but even though we have dropped our GPSr too many times, that seems like quite a difference.
