The memorial stands within Manor Park which is situated on Carshalton Road (A232), it is opposite the Police station. Plenty of car parks in Sutton and if you are lucky you may find some street parking nearby. Unfortunately if you want free parking you may have a long walk, unless you are visiting the large DIY store opposite which has free parking for customers for 1-2 hours. Alternatively many buses use the stop outside the park and Sutton railway station is less than 1km away.
This large memorial has a large cross upon a plinth. Three panels have the names it commemorates one for each of the armed services. Four Angels also look over the park from the memorial The memorial commemorates the lives of 524 men from the Borough of Sutton and Cheam.
It is situated in four acres of parkland which were donated to the people of Sutton "for ever" when the memorial was erected in 1921.
