A bronze bust of George Washington is displayed in the visitor center at Ferry FarmClick for related waymark to open in new window, the site of George's boyhood home in Stafford County, Virginia. A placard in front identifies the sculptor as Paul Wayland Bartlett. The bust was orignally commissioned by the Sons of the American Revolution for St. Paul's Chapel in New York City in 1920. Bartlett completed it in 1929. Today it sits where George Washington grew up.
