While out geocaching and waymarking in this beautiful area we found this nice Welcome To Manila sign. It shows the shape of the state of Utah. Home of Flaming Gorge which is located where the red star is on the picture. Flaming Gorge is a National Recreation Area. The fish is a rainbow trout one of the types of fish found in Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The valley opens wide at your feet and the pollution free evening skies are filled with stars that seem almost within reach. Manila rests on a valley which quietly overlooks the immense beauty of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Unfortunately we could not locate the artist to give create to.
