Hongming Vegetarian Restaurant—Krabi Town, Thailand. - Vegetarian Eateries on Waymarking.com

A kick off point for the numerous beaches, resorts and islands in the region, Krabi town itself is a small, quiet, and pleasant town, ~700kms south of the thriving metropolis of Bangkok.

There is at least one good vegetarian restaurant in the town, Hongming Vegetarian Restaurant, which I came across by chance. The restaurant caters largely to a local audience, with a variety of vegetarian Thai food. As with most Asian vegetarian restaurants there is a wide selection of 'not-meat' products.

I had only time for takeaway, so I added a variety of items. The food was tasty, and certainly spicy. Very enjoyable. A small meal for 45 baht, ~$1.50. The restaurant opens early ~6.00 and closes ~16.00. Little English, point and pay.

There is also a small shop at the back offering vegetarian products. The restaurant is nestled in a line of shops of various sorts. Certainly recommended, if you happen to be passing through the town to one more beach destination.
