The eagle is a motif of the city of Krabi. It symbolises: knowledge, responsibility, and consideration. There are several examples of the bird on display around the town (wm: WMBM0X). This particular set of sculptures are of two eagles perched on top of a set of traffic signals on a main road leading out of the town.
The birds are depicted with their wings spread, which is how the other birds are shown. These two here are most likely the same species as the other eagles, a white-breasted sea eagle. The eagles are visible up and down the street, and certainly draw your attention when first seen.
The waymark was made between the two eagles.
