This heap that has been beat upon over the years is located at the base of a failed stone dam in the midst of the Nobscot Conservation Area.

In Sudbury, in the Nobscot Conservation Area, is a stone wall 30-60 ft high in the middle of woods, with a metal heap at its base. This heap is barely recognizable as an automobile. There is "Dodge" lettering still visible, but other indicators such as the model were not found. I am guessing that this automobile came from the 80s, but this is only a general guess from a non-car expert.

Getting there is a bit tricky. The best place is a parking lot on Brimfield Lane, then follow the path across the street down the slope, and taking rights at major intersections. It would also help to have the waymark point in the GPSr and use that as a guide. You should not have to travel through private property to get there.

The dam is also known as Ford's Folly, since it never held water that was intended for the grist mill by the Wayside Inn. There is a wetland on one side, and a small stream that runs by the car on the other side. From the car, it looks like an impressive barrier.
Make and model: Dodge, from the lettering. I can't tell the make
