The grave site for Moses Morris is noted by a historical marker at the side of the road. The headstone has been worn by weather and is no longer readable. On one side of the headstone is a marker for Indian War Veteran and the other is a Revoltionary War maker. I found Moses in a family tree, but little information was avaialable from the family. The historical marker notes the following:
Moses Morris (1743-1827), buried here, enlisted at 16 in the Frontier Guard during the French and Indian War, and during the Revolution harassed residents loyal to Britain.
Location type: Single Grave
Date of Birth: 1743
Date of Death: 1827
Cause of death: Died Later
Grave Marker Text: The grave marker is unreadable. It has been worn by weather. The grave is found due to family history and the metal markers placed alongside the grave.
