Edmund R. Strauchen Jr. was a retired airline captain earned wings as a jet fighter pilot. He died in Jan 16 when the plane he was flying crashed. (visit link)
Edmund was flying with his longtime friend, ex-fighter pilot Bob Koch of Maryland.
Where is this bench located?: On theside of the spiral road to the top of Memorial Hill.
