The first (not covered) bridge was built at this location in 1916. The costs were 1,060 Swiss Francs. It was in the fields, far away from the next house. Today it is in the middle of a dwelling area.

On June 8th 2005 a tree fell onto the bridge in a storm and destroyed it completely.

A new bridge was built by a local timber company in the same year, this time a covered bridge; the ground level was elevated 80 cm and the width extended from 110 to 150 cm. The length of the new bridge is 30 meters. The total costs were 185,072 Swiss Francs (that's nearly 175 times the amount of 1916).
