This 27’ tall umbrella is hard to miss in Nollen Plaza. Crusoe Umbrella was created from steel by Cleas Oldenburg and Coosje van Brugeen. Private contributions were matched by a National Endowment for the Arts grant, and the artwork was dedicated in 1979.
