USDI NPS 3600-602 is a US National Park Service disk mounted in the cement walk leading to Montezuma Well in Arizona.
Montezuma Well is located 11 miles from Montezuma Castle. Go north on I-17 to exit 293 and then follow the signs. The water of Montezuma Well enters from two underground springs. Over one and a half million gallons of water a day flow into the well. This constant supply of warm, fresh water provides an aquatic habitat like no other in the world, and has served as an oasis for wildlife and humans for thousands of years.
Montezuma Well is free to visit.
Open Daily: 8 AM- 5 PM
(Labor Day to Memorial Day, usually September to May)
Open Daily: 8 AM - 6 PM
(Memorial Day to Labor Day, usually May to September)
The entrance gate remains open during these hours seven days a week (closed on Christmas Day). Dogs are allowed on park trails but must remain on a leash no longer than six feet in length. Dog owners must pick up after their pets.
