Wai'oli Beach, on the north shore of Kauai, is the largest crescent beach on the island. It is located on Hanalei Bay just west of Hanalei Beach Park, a popular surfing site. The bay is surrounded by palm trees and a high ridge. It is over 2.5 miles from tip to tip and is framed with promontories at each end. The scenic location is spectacular. Due to the underwater topography, swimming can be hazardous on windy days. You can reach the east end of this beach directly from Weke Road or the center of the beach by taking one of the roads north from Weke Road in the Town of Hanalei.
Coordinates and images are for the approximate center of the beach, a short distance north of Weke Road at the end of Hee Road.
