As we were driving around we found this historic home with a plaque on it. It is the John A. Evans Home. Built in 1889 For John A. Evans, General Manager of the Desert News. The home was designed by a prominent Utah architect, Richard K. A. Kletting. Richar L. Evans, a son, became an Apostle in the LDS Church and produced, wrote and voiced "Music And The Spoken Word" on the Tabernacle Choir weekly broadcast on CBS for 36 years.
