The area around Sinchon is home to several major Universties. There was once a large traffic rotary (round about) here, but now it is just a large four-way intersection with a subway stop with exits at each of the four corners.
To the north are Yonsei and Ewha Univiversities, considered to be two of the most prestigious universities in Korea, and to the south is Sogang University, another private school. To the west is Hongik University.
One passes this 7-Eleven store going south from Sinchon rotary to Sogang University. There are several coffee shops nearby including a Dunkin Donuts.
