Two cast iron plaques fixed to the wall of the Conservancy offices. Originally these were fixed on the side of the old lockhouse, showing the height to which the water rose during the floods of 1821 and 1894. The lock is a short walk from here and on the wall beneath the lock-keeper's office is a similar one for March 1947.
