The Farmers State Bank opened January 11, 1911 on the corner of Main and Fulton Street in Waupaca, WI. The building looks the same as it looked in 1961. The Bank moved to its present location on the corner of Fulton and Washington Street on March 7, 1966. The old bank building was for sale and on March 1, 1967 Edward J. Hart purchased the building from the Farmers State Bank, reserving the right to maintain the time and temperature clock attached to the building for a period of 10 years. The Farmers State Bank still to this day maintains the time and temperature clock.
