Costing £70,000 and being part of the regeneration scheme in Boscombe, this sculpture is a striking sight. It is made from one piece of granite which has been sawn in half, polished and positioned. The sculpture represents the rising and setting of the sun and the moon. Simon Hitchens designed the piece.
The roundabout itself has an uneven surface of paving slabs adding to the design.
