Cap for T 21 S, R 11 E, Sec. corner 13, 14, 23, 24, set in 1929. Cap is just south of edge of F.S. Rd. 9735, 5 miles east of junction with U.S. Hwy. 97. Shevlin-Hixon opened a lumber mill in Bend in 1916 which operated until 1950. Timber was hauled to Bend by railroad.
