This post office was built in 1914 according to the sign above the door. It is in the small village of Wentworth, near Rotherham , South Yorkshire.
The small post box in the wall was erected in the reign of King George. If it was put in at the same time as the post office was built then it would be a George V box.
It has managed to retain it's original design and not spoilt by modern signs.
Letter Boxes: yes
Road Tax Purchase: no
