The palque was placed by the Daughters of the American Revolutions in 1930. It's on the Virginia St bridge. The plaque reads: "Site Pioneer Fording Place and first bridge built 1860."
Update: Removed in 2014 when the bridge was scheduled for demolition and replacement then replaced on the new bridge.
