The city hall building is a simple brick, square building. It's located on the main street, Carson Street. It's located across the street from the State Capitol building.
Carson City is the capitol of Nevada. It's official name is the Consolidated Municipality of Carson City . It's population was 52,457 at the 2000 census.
The city was founded by Europeans in the 1840s. In it's past it's been the county seat of Ormsby county. It's currently part an independent city.
The city itself was founded in 1858 by Abraham Curry. Curry bought the land which now makes up part of the city and is known as "the father of Carson City."
