Dr. Grant R. Fairbanks has erected a number of statues and made medals and seals. His largest statue is a bronze eagle with outstretched wings, 20 feet across, which is perched atop an arched gateway and is a central city landmark in Salt Lake City, known as the “Eagle Gate.”
