Jefferson Elks Lodge # 2306 hosts this wonderful rural scene painted by “Homstad” of Decorah, IA in 1997. Dimension is added by the sign hanging out over the door of a small painted structure, a side door that actually leads into the real building. An elk looks on as a farmer works in his field. This scene can be seen on the corner of West Harrison and West Wilson Streets.
