The Clements Stone Arch Bridge was erected in 1886 across the Cottonwood River about 1/2 mile south of Clements. The bridge was constructed by L.P. Santy and D.Y. Hamill who also operated stone quarries near Clements. The bridge was erected at a cost of about $12,000. The bridge spans one hundred seventy-five feet over the Cottonwood River, with the span supported by twin stone arches.
