This Oklahoma Centennial Clock is one of many placed around the state to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Oklahoma's statehood. This one is black, with orange stripes (the colors of OSU). It is located on the far southeast corner of campus, close to the Honors College/Old Central building.
Oklahoma Centennial Celebration was a huge event! In fact, there were several events occurring throughout the state on November 16, 2007. Guthrie was the original capitol, but it is now in OKC.
