The town of Scranton has gotten into the Barn Quilt spirit with four different quilt blocks mounted on downtown businesses. The “Cats and Mice” are playing next door to “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” and the MacDonald Insurance Agency. The red and black quilt block dresses up this building which at present seems to be for sale. Although these four quilts are not on the official Greene County list, they add a colorful touch to Scranton’s main street.
