The town of Scranton has gotten into the Barn Quilt spirit with four different quilt blocks mounted on downtown businesses. “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” incorporates intricate calico painting to make this a detailed quilt block. It hangs between the windows of MacDonald Insurance Agency. Although these four quilts are not on the official Greene County list, they add a colorful touch to Scranton’s main street.
