This plaque is located at the new road to Basel about 200 meters from the border crossing. It has the coat of arms of Huningue and the two sister cities on it.
One sister city, Soustons, is also French, but almost in the opposite corner of the country. The other one Weil am Rhein is in Germany, just across the river and there is a close cooperation between them in many respects.
