The cottage is where they originally kept the cats when shelter was founded. Thanks to contributions from Home Depot and a team of artists, Polisky finished the mural in her senior year and received the gold star award for it.
Orphans of the Storm is to one of the oldest and largest animal shelters in the country. The shelter's grounds are lush with vegetation. The shelter adopts out thousands of dogs and cats and is always looking to provide them with new loving homes.
