In the Fashion Plaza in Murray stand nicely a sculpture of W.C. "Bill" Roderick and a nice dedication plaque from his family about this wonderful man. It is a life-size portrait statue. The statue was erected at the sight of his first UTOCO service station. Website: (

The dedication plaque reads:
W.C. "Bill" Roderick
May 3, 1911 to April 25, 1982
Founder of Roderick Enterprises.
On the corner of this site was Murray Petroleum,
the first of several service stations Bill owned.
Murray Petroleum opened in 1947
This sculpture is dedicated to the
memory of Bill by his family.
