The building is made up of two part. A dome shaped building and a tower. The tower is 18 floors. They were completed in 2005. The 380 million dollar complex was influenced by Le Corbusier.
City hall is also home to two falcons, Clara and "Esteban Colbert" after Stephen Colbert.
