The marker is placed on South Route 202 (Boonton Turnpike) in Lincoln Park, NJ as you are crossing the Pompton River via the Aqueduct Bridge from Mt. View. The marker was placed by the Morris County Heritage Commission and speaks of George Washington encampments during the Revolutionary War and the main metal produced in the 19th century, iron.
