Lanškroun, Czech Republic - City and Town Halls on Waymarking.com

Lanškroun square square dominated by the Renaissance Town Hall from 1581 to 1582. Originally it was a two-story building with two gables and gabled roofs and typical graffiti on the walls. Later it was added 50 m tall rectangular hall tower, in the Thirty Years War, the building was damaged by Swedish troops, but around 1660 expensively repaired. In the first half of the 19th century was marked classical reconstruction and the original form received Lanškroun Hall back in the 90th 20th century. The decoration is primarily portals perfectly reconstructed diamond bossage sculptures and coats of arms of city and gender. Today the massive building back seat of the municipality.
