There is a photo of the Menasha locks and another of the mural. The mural has an operator opening the gate to let the ship through the lock. The locks will raise or lower a Ship 9' 7" in about 4 min. The mural was painted in 2006 to highlight the Historic importance of the entire Fox River Lock System. There are 17 locks in the system.
