This 1988 piece depicting a red horse by Deborah Butterfield is located on the second floor of the Hamilton Building of the Denver Art Museum.
The placard reads:

Deborah Butterfield created Orion's muzzle
and jaw from the fender of a car. The art-
ist scavenges for old car parts to transform
into portraits of real, individual horses.
'Working with junk is a way of recognizing
a quality of line and appropriating it to my
sculpture,' She says."
