Two South windows at St Oswald’s church is by the famous stained glass artist Henry Holiday. One window depicts Angels, the other Jesus with Mary and Martha. Although Holiday was born in London, he made his home in nearby Hawkshead Hill, building his own home there, Betty Fold.
