In Boston, at the Logan International Airport, is a rolling ball kinetic sculpture located in the baggage claim area, near one end of the building.
The sculpture is located by a window that overlooks the passenger drop off/pick up area outside the terminal.
There are two rolling ball sculptures at Logan. According to one web site, one of them was once at the Boston Museum of Science (I'm not sure which one was there). The other one is located in the ticketing area of Terminal C (last noted in the web site). This one apparently has been moved since.
At the time I had first seen this machine (May 2010), the machine was in good shape and all portions were working. At a later point (September 2010), the machine was mostly not working, with most of the balls jammed on the ramp leading to the vertical lift.
