The most common Queen depicted on pub signs is thought to have been Queen Elizabeth I. It was not unknown for these to be removed by agents of the queen when they failed to portray her in the best light.

This one, however, is unmistakably Victoria (1819 - 1901) and this particular portrayal gives the impression that she was definitely NOT amused.
