The information sign describes the area of Hidden Hollow Natural Area which is a little treasure. You can learn about the plants and animals that live here. Parley's creek runs through this area. A group of students from Hawthorne Elementary in 1990 took on a task of restoring the 3 acre natural area. It is now open to the public as a natural area, trails, and learning area. There are information signs about the bird, plants etc. in this area. There are dirt paths and some paved. It is one of our favorite places to visit. Everyone is welcome here but they encourage you to stay on the trails to protect the wildlife, plants and trees.
For a nice quite place within the city, this is the place to be, in a natural area.
