On a small island at the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Wanaque Avenue is a small park with several memorial monuments and plaques. This one tends to get covered by plants in the summer time due to its size. The memorial is a metal plaque attached to a rock. The plaque reads:

DEDICATED TO
THE MEN AND WOMEN OF
THE BOROUGH OF POMPTON LAKES
WHO DEVOTEDLY SERVED
THEIR COUNTRY IN WORLD WAR II
AND THE KOREAN WAR
